MARYSVILLE, Ohio, July 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Scotts, North America's leading lawn care products brand, has announced a new partnership with U.S. Men's National Soccer Team Captain Tyler Adams. The partnership is a natural one given their shared dedication to supporting youth athletes, specifically ensuring access to natural green spaces and recognizing the variety of benefits they provide.
Adams, who also plays for Premier League club AFC Bournemouth, attributes his early success to his experiences as a youth athlete. Originally from a small town in New York, he will help give back to communities by working with Scotts to launch a nationwide "Keep It Real" sweepstakes, offering five youth sports nonprofit organizations a chance to win a natural-turf field refurbishment and soccer balls signed by Adams.

As a new father, Adams is adamant about spending time with his family outside. "Being outside in the yard with my son brings back such vivid memories of my own childhood and where my love of soccer first took root," he said. "I'm thrilled to be able to share more of my story and give back to other young athletes through working with Scotts."
This partnership complements Scotts' ongoing commitment to expand access to green spaces by funding youth sports registration fees for income-restricted families through the national nonprofit Every Kid Sports. In 2024, Scotts donated more than $200,000 to Every Kid Sports, enabling nearly 1,300 income-restricted youth to participate in sports in natural green spaces. Natural turfgrass provides a safer surface for outdoor sports compared to artificial turf, reducing the risk of injuries.

To kick off the partnership, Adams hosted a field day at his childhood playing field in Wappingers Falls, New York, teaching soccer skills to local youth. The town's multipurpose field was recently renamed the Tyler Adams Soccer Pitch at the Martz Field Recreation Facility in recognition of his contributions.
